Victorian Clock Repair
A treasured family heirloom had been neglected for many years and was in need of both a restoration of the marble casing and also repairs and services to the motion work.
This was both a challenging and very rewarding repair which took several weeks. The finished product was a unique timepiece restored back to display condition.
Model House Replica
This project was of a local house for the owner's Christmas present. Many weeks were spent producing an exact, scale replica of this Horton stone cottage.
The body is made from card, then coated in plaster. Each stone is then hand-carved into the building and then hand-painted using watercolour paint made from samples of stone from the house.
Bedford MW Restoration
This project was both a mechanical and cosmetic restoration that was completed to a standard that enabled the customer to complete the rest of the work themselves.
Daimler Ferret Restoration
Nathan's own personal project is this 1952 Daimler Ferret.
The vehicle had been left to languish in a field for many years before being brought home to be saved. The complete nut-and-bolt restoration took three years in total and resulted in a fully functioning military armoured car.
GWR Bench Replica
This was a recreation of an authentic Great Western Railway bench. We had two replica bench ends cast at the local foundry and then set about making the reproduction woodwork to complete this stunning garden addition.
Scratch Built Railway Layout
One of the projects I'm most proud of. We created and built a model railway layout for a 10-year-old child. It was built in N-Gauge and had working trains and lighting. All of the buildings were hand-painted and weathered to give the model a realistic look.
This model won 1st prize at the Bloxham Steam Fair.
Austin Tilly for Her Majesty the Queen
We were thrilled to be asked to turn a wartime RAF Austin Tilly into a replica of the vehicle that Her Majesty was photographed working on during her wartime service. The car then went on to take part in Her Majesty's 90th birthday celebrations where the car was inspected by the Queen herself. We were then invited to Windsor Castle to take part in the birthday celebrations, with the Queen in attendance.
